The primary purpose of our Site is to connect you with licensed insurance agents and carriers who can provide you with life insurance coverage. When you submit a quote request, your personal information — including contact details, date of birth, and insurance preferences — will be shared with one or more licensed insurance agents or carriers who may contact you by phone, email, or text message to discuss coverage options.

We engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, including website hosting, data analytics, payment processing, customer relationship management (CRM), email and SMS delivery, fraud detection, and IT support. These providers are contractually required to use your information only as directed by us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We work with advertising networks, data brokers, and marketing partners to deliver targeted advertisements and measure campaign effectiveness. This may involve sharing device identifiers, cookies, pixel data, and in some cases contact information with these partners. Sharing of information for cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable state privacy laws.

You consent to receive phone calls — including from automated dialing systems — from Secure Quote and third-party insurance agents and carriers at the phone number you provide, even if that number is on a federal or state Do Not Call registry. Standard calling rates apply.

You consent to receive autodialed or pre-recorded text messages from Secure Quote and our partners at the mobile number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the information in Section 12.

You consent to receive marketing and informational emails from Secure Quote and, where applicable, from licensed insurance agents or carriers. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email or by contacting us directly. Transactional and service-related emails may continue regardless of marketing opt-out status.

You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which it was collected, and the purposes for which it was used.

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of its processing.

You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (such as information needed to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or detect security incidents).

You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 9 for details.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights, including by denying services, charging different prices, or providing a different level of quality of service.

In the past 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from consumers:

• Personal information under California Civil Code § 1798.80: name, address, telephone number, date of birth
• Characteristics of protected classifications: age, gender
• Internet or other network activity: browsing behavior, search history, interactions with the Site

• Inferences drawn from other information: consumer profiles reflecting insurance preferences

In the past 12 months, we have disclosed each of the categories listed above to our service providers for business purposes, including website analytics, CRM, and marketing operations.

In the past 12 months, we have sold or shared identifiers, contact information, and internet activity data to or with licensed insurance agents, carriers, and advertising partners as described in Section 3.

We collect health-related information you voluntarily provide (e.g., tobacco use status, general health conditions) in order to generate insurance quotes. We use this information only to provide our services and connect you with appropriate insurance options. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted under the CPRA.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — typically no longer than 3 years from your last interaction with us, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
